Reviewed in Canada on June 14, 2024This book captures the spirit of the time with its first hand accounts. I can attest that it is accurate and authentic as I visited those communities regularly during the later time frame of the bookReviewed in Canada on July 6, 2023I very much enjoyed reading this book. The history of this Indigenous First Nation community in Northern Ontario and the personal stories of the people is a must read for everyone. I applaud the resilience of the people for maintaining their cultural heritage while adapting to the modern world. One person found this helpful
