This book captures the spirit of the time with its first hand accounts. I can attest that it is accurate and authentic as I visited those communities regularly during the later time frame of the book

I very much enjoyed reading this book. The history of this Indigenous First Nation community in Northern Ontario and the personal stories of the people is a must read for everyone. I applaud the resilience of the people for maintaining their cultural heritage while adapting to the modern world.
